Hit 5 more national parks on our spring break trip

Petrified Forest, Saguaro, Carlsbad Caverns, Guadalupe Mountains, and Big Bend. And Chiricahua National Monument for good measure. 3000+ miles, 9 days, everything from a blizzard to 85 degree heat. Saw black bears, bighorn sheep, javelinas, golden eagles, road runners, gray foxes. Camped in some really beautiful places, mostly for free. It never ceases to amaze me how vast the West is. Still have a lot to explore!

Oh and thanks to those who offered suggestions for places to see a while back.
